Horse & Livestock Tanks
 

The regular size Skamper-Ramp is extremely effective for use in pasture/water troughs. It allows mice and other small animals who fall into the trough to get out of the water, on their own, without drowning and fouling the water. Horses will not drink water out of a trough that is fouled and has dead creatures in it, unless confronted with severe thirst. Skamper-Ramp provides a means of escape for mice, squirrels, and other small animals that fall into the troughs - keeping the water clean, save and potable for the horses. Because the Skamper-Ramp is fabricated from polypropylene (making it mold, mildew, and algae resistant), it is lightweight and can easily be flipped in and out of the trough. It works because it is white--the the one color that all living creatures see. Since it angles down into the water it is at eye level to the mice, voles, chipmunks, (even bugs!) etc, who instinctively know to use to it to escape drowning.   The regular size (for animals up to 45 lbs.) is small enough to not bother the horses as they drink.

Boats
 

Dogs can get back on board boats and docks. With Skamper-Ramp, dogs have a less stressful way to get back on board and you don't have to wrench your back.
